Cartier unveiled its new high jewellery collection Nature Sauvage in Vienna, a city renowned for its rich history and culture. The exquisite collection features animals from Cartier’s theatre of appearances, each creature telling its own story to capture the imagination. The presentation took place in the Kursalon Hübner, a grand Renaissance-style pavilion from the late 19th century. The scenography was divided into three parts, combining classical elegance with organic elements, creating an intense and enchanting contrast that highlighted the sublime and precious fauna.
The unveiling ceremony lasts for two weeks, filled with great festivities and unique experiences. Julian MacKay, the first male ballet dancer to become a friend of the Maison, presented his choreography inspired by Nature Sauvage. This performance reflects the wild, unbridled spirit of the pieces through animal movements, celebrating both ballet and exquisite craftsmanship. The gala evening took place in the MAK, an iconic venue of art and history, where time seemed to stand still. Among the guests were friends and ambassadors of the Maison, including Sofia Coppola, Elle Fanning and Anna Sawai.
