Located above the Maison Margiela boutique in Ebisu, this multi-faceted event offers a deep dive into the haute couture collection, allowing visitors to explore the intricate details and original creations envisioned by Creative Director John Galliano. The exhibition features a post-mortem format that reveals the layers of Galliano’s work, presenting it from various perspectives.
To enhance the experience, attendees will have access to a comprehensive audio guide recorded by Galliano himself, providing insights into the inspirations and techniques behind the collection. Additionally, from October 26th to November 24th, Dover Street Market Ginza will host window installations dedicated to the collection, featuring artwork by renowned manga artist Tite Kubo.
On the third floor of Dover Street Market, a curated Maison Margiela Bookstore will showcase books that inspired Galliano during the creation of the Artisanal 2024 Collection.
