A$AP Rocky’s HOMMEMADE brand unveiled its latest Galaxy Collection at Design Miami 2024, marking a bold step forward for the enigmatic home decor label. Presented in a private viewing, the collection blends futuristic aesthetics with urban motifs, showcasing HOMMEMADE’s distinctive design approach. Created in collaboration with Italian manufacturer Gufram, the line highlights playful yet subversive designs that reinterpret everyday city life.
The centerpiece of the collection was the CBNT.V1, a retrofuturist speaker cabinet featuring dual massive speakers, a range of vintage-inspired controls, and even nostalgic elements like VHS and cassette tape players. Complementing this statement piece are cushions printed with skyscraper imagery, a satellite-style projector lamp, and a rug designed to resemble a satellite cityscape photo. The collection also introduces a signature “h” and “m”-shaped chair that merges typography with functionality.
HOMMEMADE’s playful creativity extends to reimagining mundane objects, as seen in its previous trash bag-shaped pillows. With the “Galaxy Collection,” the brand continues to explore themes of nostalgia and metropolitan life through innovative forms.
