Toronto will once again host the Human/Nature Conference, Azure’s annual international gathering focused on design’s role in addressing climate change. Scheduled for fall 2025, the event builds on the success of its inaugural edition, which attracted over 250 designers, climate experts, and policymakers from around the world.

This multi-disciplinary conference will feature one-hour, CEU-accredited sessions, including talks, panels, and interactive workshops, exploring innovative solutions to climate challenges. Topics will range from low-carbon manufacturing and circular economy projects to resilient landscapes and sustainable, inclusive interior design.

Azure’s Call for Proposals, open until January 24th, 2025, invites practitioners and collaborative teams to share replicable solutions and groundbreaking approaches. Submissions should focus on proven results, evolving strategies, and fostering multidisciplinary dialogue.

The conference emphasizes diversity in perspectives, engagement through interactive formats, and tangible takeaways for participants across design professions. With its commitment to shaping climate-conscious design practices, Human/Nature 2025 promises to inspire actionable change.
