Grand Palais in Paris will host From the Heart to the Hand: Dolce & Gabbana, an exhibition celebrating the artistry and cultural influences behind the iconic fashion house, from January 10th to March 31st, 2025. Following its sold-out debut at Milan’s Palazzo Reale, this exhibition brings together over 200 unique creations from the Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria, and Alta Gioielleria collections, curated by Florence Müller and set within dramatic scenography by Agence Galuchat.
The exhibition offers an intimate look at the translation of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana’s creative visions, from their initial inspirations to their meticulous realization through handcrafting. Each room showcases bespoke pieces that draw deeply from Italian culture, reflecting themes such as art, architecture, music, opera, and regional traditions. Visitors are invited to explore the rich narratives and craftsmanship behind these designs, which pay homage to Italy’s heritage and the designers’ passion for “la dolce vita.”
Highlights include garments that reinterpret Italian folk traditions, costumes inspired by the opulence of opera and ballet, and jewelry embodying artisanal precision. Archival treasures and new works are displayed in thematic settings, showcasing how Sicilian influences and Italian cinema have shaped Dolce & Gabbana’s bold vision over the decades.
