Nike x Palace turned a historic London venue into Manor Place

Nike x Palace have officially opened Manor Place, a new multifunctional hub in South London dedicated to sport, creativity, and community. Located at 33 Manor Place, the space is open six days a week free of charge and reimagines a historic 1895 venue as a modern arena for collaboration and expression, blending the worlds of skateboarding, football and art under one roof.

The launch, which took place on November 11th, marks not only the unveiling of this community-driven skateboarding project, but also the next step in the evolving partnership between the global sportswear brand and London’s iconic streetwear label. Together, they aim to inspire the next generation of athletes, artists, and cultural innovators.

The vision behind Manor Place

Born from a shared passion for sport and subculture, Manor Place embodies what both brands stand for: energy, inclusivity, and creativity. The concept brings together three distinct zones — The Park and The Cage, The Front Room, and The Residency — each designed to serve a unique purpose in the wider cultural ecosystem.

At street level, The Park and The Cage celebrate London’s rich skateboarding and football heritage. Above an underground football cage that rises to the surface for tournaments and open play, a polished concrete skatepark sits, complete with ramps, ledges and benches inspired by legendary city spots like Southbank and Stockwell. Together, they form a dynamic, ever-changing playground where movement and design converge.

A skateboarding project with a purpose

This skateboarding project is not just about sport — it’s about shaping culture. As Palace co-founder Lev Tanju explained, the goal was to create a space that feels authentic to Londoners: somewhere to skate, play, and hang out. His partner, Gareth Skewis, emphasized that “community” isn’t just a buzzword here; it’s the foundation. Manor Place offers a safe, inclusive environment where young people can discover new passions just blocks away from where Palace itself was born.

Creativity in motion: the Front Room and The Residency

Inside, The Front Room serves as an evolving exhibition and event space showcasing emerging London artists and designers. It doubles as a retail hub for exclusive Nike x Palace releases — including the recently launched P90 collection, which channels early-2000s football culture through technical sportswear and street-ready silhouettes.

Meanwhile, The Residency supports six emerging creatives on a rotating nine-month program, providing studio space and mentoring free of charge. Each cycle culminates in an exhibition within The Front Room, ensuring that new voices continue to shape Manor Place’s creative energy.

The opening of Manor Place establishes Nike x Palace not just as collaborators, but as cultural architects, uniting London’s skaters, players, and creators under one roof and one city with a shared sense of purpose.
