Maison Margiela and Pendleton have collaborated on a new collection that fuses the American heritage brand’s iconic plaids with the French fashion house’s avant-garde design aesthetic.
Part of Maison Margiela’s Co-Ed 2023 collection, the designs are inspired by the Southern Gothic themes of the American West, American cinema, and young punks with their expressive and free spirit. A wide range of garments are presented, including oversized outerwear, elegant deconstructed dresses, ruffled tailoring, and red buffalo-style patterns incorporated into denim pieces. The collection is all made from Pendleton’s high-quality wool fabrics and features a range of plaids, from pastel blues and pinks to vibrant reds.
A unique and innovative take on two iconic American brands, the Maison Margiela x Pendleton collaboration is now available in Maison Margiela stores and online.
