Moser & Cie, and Girrard-Perregaux, while also offering its own jeweler collections and signature watches.
In a recent collaboration with Swiss watchmaker L’Epée 1839, Bucherer unveiled two retro-futuristic kinetic sculptures. Watches that stand alone as artistic expressions, immersing the viewer in the world of haute horlogerie through the ages. These limited-edition pieces have a contemporary design.
The first is the Bucherer Exclusive L’Epée Time Fast Forward. It features a racing car made of special forged carbon fibre developed exclusively for Bucherer. It combines the classic design of 1950s single-seater racing cars with cutting-edge watchmaking technology. The second is the Bucherer Exclusive L’Epée Time Machine. Inspired by the sci-fi genre, it combines a Back to the Future aesthetic with precision watchmaking.
According to Arnaud Nicolas, CEO and Creative Director of L’Epée 1839, the collaboration arose from discussions between the two companies’ creative teams at a watch fair.
