Digital artist Norah Alsuairy has unveiled her stunning project Basketball Court in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. The series features AI-generated renderings of basketball courts seamlessly integrated into the breathtaking natural landscape of AlUla. Inspired by the region’s towering rock formations and sweeping sand dunes, Alsuairy’s designs place the courts amidst sandstone canyons, illuminated by natural light.
She used advanced AI tools to create multiple design iterations, ensuring that each court harmonises with its surroundings. The rugged contours of the mountains provide a dramatic backdrop, while the earthy tones blend into the court surfaces. Alsuairy describes the project as a fusion of her passions for sport and the environment, brought to life through artificial intelligence.
Alsuairy’s work highlights the potential for AI to enhance both functionality and aesthetic brilliance in design, transforming AlUla’s geology into monumental recreational spaces.
