Bottega Veneta unveils the 2025 edition of Bottega for Bottegas, its annual initiative dedicated to spotlighting global craftspeople. This year’s project opens across Milan, Venice, and New York during the 2025 holiday season, weaving together aperitivo culture and the house’s long-standing devotion to artisanal design.
Aperitivo culture and the spirit of the 2025 edition
The new chapter invites three artisans from cities central to Bottega Veneta’s heritage to reinterpret the rituals of the Italian aperitivo. The brand sees this moment of gathering as a perfect symbol of celebration, craftsmanship, and conviviality—values shared by the makers involved. Together, their creations form a modern still life that honors both local traditions and the brand’s global outlook.
Artisanal design across three cities
Each city contributes a distinctive object that reflects its creative identity and its connection to Bottega Veneta’s history. From Milan, Ganci Argenterie presents a pair of silver-plated glasses crafted using one of the city’s oldest silversmithing traditions. In New York, Brooklyn-based silversmith Heath Wagoner offers sterling-silver cocktail sticks accented with a sculptural knot, a nod to design motifs cherished by the house. And in Venice, master bookbinder Paolo Olbi creates a handbound notebook intended for cocktail recipes and evening reflections, drawing on decorative patterns rooted in Venetian craft.
Craft, heritage, and a contemporary vision
The 2025 project reaffirms the brand’s belief that handmade objects carry stories of cities, people and the rituals that bring them together. By bringing together a group of thoughtful makers, Bottega Veneta celebrates the enduring relevance of craftsmanship in a rapidly changing world.
