MM6 Maison Margiela has been selected as the guest designer for Pitti Immagine Uomo 107, which will take place in Florence from January 14th-17th, 2025. Known for its avant-garde approach, MM6 will debut a menswear collection designed exclusively for the event, marking a return to Pitti Uomo after nearly two decades.
The collection is expected to embody MM6’s signature deconstructed style, blending unconventional tailoring with a sense of individuality. The decision to invite MM6 reflects Pitti Uomo’s commitment to showcasing innovative and nonconformist fashion, as the brand continues to challenge sartorial norms. Francesca Tacconi, Pitti Immagine’s Special Events Coordinator, praised MM6 for its unique ability to merge tradition with contemporary irreverence. The collection, created specifically for the event, is expected to highlight MM6’s exploration of imperfection and the beauty in unconventional design.
