First green fuelling infrastructure

Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA) unveils plans for the world’s first green hydrogen refueling system for recreational boating, to be rolled out across twenty-five Italian marinas and ports. The initiative, led by NatPower H, aims to establish one hundred refueling stations across the Mediterranean by 2030 to meet the growing demand for sustainable energy. Each station, designed by ZHA, will integrate renewable energy sources such as wind and solar to produce environmentally friendly green hydrogen, in line with global efforts to promote cleaner shipping. Using NatPower H technologies, the infrastructure responds to the urgent need for sustainable energy solutions and is expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 45,000 tonnes per year.
