Future Positive

The Seoul Museum of Art is hosting Future Positive | Norman Foster and Foster + Partners, an exhibition that will run until July 21st, 2024. This is the first time that the work of renowned architect Norman Foster and his studio has been presented to the Korean public. The show explores Foster + Partners’ architectural journey from 1967 to the present day, focusing on themes such as sustainability, culture, history, research and technology.

The exhibition features notable projects such as Apple Park in Cupertino, California, Bloomberg’s European headquarters in London, and ecological office towers in Frankfurt and London. It also highlights the studio’s commitment to retrofitting existing buildings to meet modern needs while reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Foster + Partners has been committed to responsible design and sustainability for over 50 years, pioneering a holistic approach to energy, community, water, waste and transport issues. Their philosophy includes revitalising old structures with programmatic understanding and user experience in mind.
