Available at selected COMME des GARÇONS stores, Dover Street Market locations, and DSM E-SHOPS, the release features iconic COMME des GARÇONS Wallet styles adorned with reproductions of Taylor’s paintings, created in partnership with Ursula Magazine.
For more than four decades, the Los Angeles-based artist has built a celebrated practice exploring identity, memory, and lived experience through deeply expressive portraiture. Drawing on personal archives, found imagery, and observations of the people around him, Taylor creates works rich in emotion, character, and cultural resonance.
Extending his paintings beyond gallery walls, the collection brings his unmistakable imagery to a series of accessories. The collaboration also reflects COMME des GARÇONS’ enduring dialogue with contemporary art, turning everyday essentials into collectible objects where fashion, design, and culture intersect.
