Benjamin Hubert’s design studio, LAYER, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the 101010 exhibition, taking place at 10 Corso Como during Milan Design Week 2025. The show presents a groundbreaking collection of prototypes aimed at addressing some of the world’s most pressing issues, including heat, hunger, and climate adaptation. These projects combine cutting-edge technology with traditional craft techniques, creating innovative solutions for a sustainable future.
One of the highlights is Cool, a passive cooling system developed with Bitossi Ceramiche, which uses earthenware’s natural properties to address global heat challenges. With 101010, Hubert envisions design as a catalyst for change, emphasizing material intelligence and social impact. Visitors will experience an immersive display of objects, prototypes, and sketches that showcase LAYER’s design philosophy. This exhibition is not just a retrospective but a bold statement about the next decade of design, inspiring new ways of thinking, seeing, and making.
