A new fragrance collaboration between the Dia Art Foundation, Comme des Garçons Parfums and American artist Meg Webster has resulted in a perfume titled [ ] Dia x Meg Webster, which blurs the boundaries between art, design and scent. The fragrance debuted on March 19th, 2026, initially available at select Comme des Garçons boutiques and Dover Street Market locations worldwide before rolling out globally.
A collectible perfume rooted in nature and form
At the heart of this fragrance collaboration lies Webster’s long-standing exploration of the natural world. Renowned for her sculptural installations created from earth, salt, and organic materials, the artist views scent as an extension of the physical and spatial experience — an invisible medium that evokes soil, forest air, and the passage of time. The result is a perfume that feels both elemental and intimate; it is designed to be worn as a sensory reminder of our connection to the environment.
The perfume’s design is as integral to the concept as the fragrance itself. [ ] Dia x Meg Webster is housed in a polished silver tetrahedral box—a geometric form central to Webster’s artistic language. Far from conventional packaging, the box functions as a sculptural presence: reflective, shifting, and ephemeral, mirroring the transient nature of scent. A minimal pictogram on the bottle references diagrammatic elements from Webster’s early installations, reinforcing the themes of interaction, spatial awareness, and the relationship between object and environment.
This collectible perfume continues Comme des Garçons Parfums’ ongoing dialogue with the art world, following collaborations with institutions such as the Serpentine Galleries, as well as with Max Richter and Stephen Jones, among others. The meeting of disciplines here — visual art, olfaction and design — results in a piece that exists somewhere between object and experience.
