This fall, sneakerheads and brick builders alike will get a fresh reason to celebrate as Nike and LEGO team up once again, blending sneaker design with basketball culture in two creative new sets. Launching globally on September 1st, 2025, the collaboration offers a playful crossover between sports, street style, and collectible design.
Nike x LEGO: two sets, endless play
The new Nike x LEGO drop features two releases that push the boundaries of what a sneaker-inspired build can be. The first, called Nike Dunk Trickshot, reimagines the low-top silhouette in red-and-white, a nod to the classic St. John’s Nike Dunk design. But this is no static model—the sneaker doubles as a dynamic launcher, allowing players to send a LEGO minifigure soaring toward a hoop in true trickshot fashion.
The second set, Slam Dunk, expands the action to a full basketball court. Complete with a mid-air player, working scoreboard, and miniature audience, it transforms LEGO bricks into a buzzy game-day experience. Both sets reflect the brands’ shared mission to bring play, creativity, and cultural energy into everyday life.
Nike Dunk design meets LEGO creativity
The Nike Dunk design is at the heart of this collaboration. Known as a symbol of both streetwear and basketball style, the Dunk becomes interactive in LEGO form. Builders will find details like graffiti-inspired backdrops, customizable minifigures with two head options, and even a hoodie modeled on the exclusive Nike x LEGO collab.
With 454 pieces, the Trickshot set is designed for builders aged 10 and up but is already being touted as a must-have display piece for collectors of all ages. The build captures the essence of basketball as both a sport and a cultural movement, making it equal parts toy and art object.
With the Nike Dunk Trickshot and Slam Dunk sets hitting shelves in September, fans can expect more than just bricks and pieces—they can expect a playful expression of creativity rooted in the legacy of both brands.
