Samuel Ross and Whoop launch tech-integrated apparel with ‘Project Terrain’

On March 12th, 2026, Whoop and Samuel Ross, founder of A-COLD-WALL and his SR_A studio, unveiled Project Terrain, a new line of tech-integrated apparel that blends wearable technology seamlessly into everyday fashion. The collection represents the first major performance design collaboration for WHOOP, transforming how health-tech devices interact with clothing.

Industrial-inspired designs for everyday wear

Project Terrain’s men’s and women’s collections feature industrial-inspired garments including technical shell jackets, undershirts, shorts, and performance bras. Each piece is crafted to integrate WHOOP’s tracking devices via discreet sensor pockets, allowing wearers to choose whether to wear the sensor on the wrist or directly in the clothing.

Under Samuel Ross’ direction, the line emphasizes design-forward aesthetics over visible technology, reflecting his signature industrial sensibilities cultivated at A-COLD-WALL.

The concept behind tech-integrated apparel

The collection is built around the idea of making technology “invisible yet functional,” transforming performance wear into a versatile wardrobe staple. Whoop CEO Will Ahmed describes the line as “taking the tech out of the tech,” while Ross highlights its integration into everyday style without overpronouncing the tech features.

Project Terrain kicks off a two-year partnership with limited-edition drops, expanding Whoop’s design language into an innovative intersection of fashion, performance, and wearable technology.
