The Art of Performance exhibition, entitled Chamber of Wonders, highlights Swarovski’s rich history in entertainment and its enduring relationship with Hollywood’s key figures. Curated by renowned costume designer Michael Schmidt and designed by Derek McLean, the show explores a timeline of significant moments.
Swarovski’s impactful collaborations with top brands and artists have shaped the global entertainment scene and left a lasting impression on sporting and cultural events. The exhibition features iconic costumes, including originals by Elton John, Lady Gaga and Dita von Teese, alongside recreations such as Marlene Dietrich’s Blonde Venus outfit and Katy Perry’s Moschino Chandelier gown from the 2019 Met Ball. There are also notable pieces by Björk and Beyoncé.
