Among the highlights was Alexander McQueen’s personal diary, which provided an intimate glimpse into his creative process during his tenure at Givenchy. The diary, spanning the 1990s to 2001, revealed detailed sketches, fabric swatches, and inspirations ranging from African tribal dress to 18th-century European fashion.
“This is a unique window into McQueen’s genius, showcasing the meticulous thought behind his final haute couture collection for Givenchy,” said a spokesperson for the auction.
