A landmark moment in fashion photography arrives in Singapore this November as UBS House of Craft x Dior unveils its highly anticipated Asian debut. The exhibition will take place from November 21st–23rd at the New Art Museum Singapore, part of the Whitestone Gallery. Building on its acclaimed New York premiere, the project brings a richly expanded exploration of the House of Dior’s eight-decade creative legacy.
A dialogue between craft and couture through fashion photography
The exhibition presents a sweeping visual journey through the eras of the House of Dior, reframed through newly commissioned works and archival treasures. Visitors will encounter a rare convergence of couture history and contemporary artistry: from Christian Dior’s revolutionary beginnings to the visions of Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano, Raf Simons, and Maria Grazia Chiuri, along with a dedicated tribute to Kim Jones.
At the heart of the showcase is a pioneering photography project by Brigitte Niedermair, a long-time collaborator of Dior, whose images reinterpret Dior’s heritage with sculptural precision. Curated by fashion icon Carine Roitfeld, the exhibition blends the past with the present to illustrate how craftsmanship remains at the heart of Dior’s ever-evolving identity.
Inside the world of the House of Dior
Beyond its emphasis on design innovation, the exhibition highlights the partnership between UBS and Dior, which leaders from both houses describe as a celebration of shared values: meticulous craft, artistic excellence, and a commitment to cultural evolution. This edition of UBS House of Craft further reflects UBS’s global initiative to spotlight mastery across disciplines—from couture to gastronomy—through immersive exhibitions and intimate encounters with artisans.
