Robotic Hand Rehabilitation Glove

XFT Medical and IDC have teamed up to launch their latest device. Specializing in home medical and rehabilitation equipment, XFT Medical has a long-standing partnership with IDC, resulting in a diverse product range. Their latest offering, the Robotic Hand Rehabilitation Glove, uses flexible air-activated muscles to facilitate movement and assist patients in passive rehabilitation training with pre-set programmes. It improves limb motor function, prevents muscle atrophy, and responds to real-time EMG signals via an EMG wristband.

Faced with design challenges, the IDC team prioritized usability for people with reduced dexterity, resulting in features such as cut-out palm areas and fingertip hoods. Testing ensured a balance between ease of use and effective treatment.
