Inspired by a passion for the arts

The Bourse de Commerce will host a selection of iconic works from the Pinault Collection, demonstrating François Pinault’s commitment to support contemporary arts. Titled Le monde comme il va, the exhibition reflects the chaos of current events, drawing parallels with Voltaire’s philosophical tale.

Through works such as Kimsooja’s monumental mirror installation, visitors are immersed in a narrative in which the order of the world is reversed. The exhibition features works that challenge traditional values and power structures by artists such as Fischli & Weiss, Maurizio Cattelan, Damien Hirst and Jeff Koons. Other artists address contemporary crises and provide a platform for quiet anger and reflection, such as Anne Imhof and Wolfgang Tillmans. Reflecting the complexities and contradictions of our society, François Pinault’s collection captures the essence of our times through prophetic, philosophical, cynical and poetic lenses.

The exhibition runs from 20 March to 2 September 2024. Visit the Bourse de Commerce website for more information.
