Step into The Costume Institute’s Spring 2024 exhibition, Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion, currently showcased at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. This groundbreaking project is designed to revive the sensory capacity of masterpieces in the Museum’s collection through the use of meticulous research, conservation analysis, and innovative technologies.
Approximately 220 garments and accessories spanning four centuries are displayed, visually linked by themes of nature, symbolising the transience of fashion.
