Invisible dialogue through photography

Invisible dialogue through photography

Dior celebrates its long-standing collaboration with photographer Peter Lindbergh with a forthcoming exhibition at La Galerie Dior in Paris. The show will feature more than 100 images taken by Lindbergh between 1988 and 2018, including never-before-seen prints from a Times Square shoot with top models and more than 80 vintage Dior outfits. The exhibition aims to explore the unique dialogue between Lindbergh’s photography and the architectural elegance of Dior’s designs. The show offers a fresh perspective on Dior’s legacy through Lindbergh’s iconic grainy black-and-white images.

Dior’s relationship with Lindbergh is highlighted through memorable campaigns, including his work with Marion Cotillard for Lady Dior and Charlize Theron for J’adore Eau Lumière. The project is a tribute to the photographer’s vision of transporting Dior’s haute couture into unexpected urban settings, capturing the essence of both the house and the vibrant energy of New York City.

The exhibition will run from October 17th, 2024, to May 4th, 2025, providing a fitting backdrop to celebrate the fusion of fashion and photography.
