This September, the London Irish Centre in Camden will host A Gathering of the Angels, a festival dedicated to acclaimed American filmmaker David Lynch. Organised by the team behind the successful Twin Peaks UK Festival (2010-2019), the two-day event will celebrate Lynch’s surreal and groundbreaking work through screenings, panels and interactive experiences.
The festival will feature guest appearances by key figures from Lynch’s oeuvre, including Dana Ashbrook, best known for his role as Bobby Briggs in Twin Peaks; Sabrina S. Sutherland, Lynch’s long-time collaborator and executive producer of Twin Peaks: The Return; and Lesley Dunlop, who starred in The Elephant Man. Attendees can also look forward to other special guests yet to be announced.
Panel discussions at the event will explore Lynch’s unique filmmaking style and collaborations. On Saturday, a Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me special will bring together co-writer Robert Engels, music editor Lori Eschler, cinematographer Ron Garcia and sound designer Douglas Murray. Sunday’s The Lynch Collaborators panel will include insights from cinematographer Peter Deming, makeup artist Debbie Zoller, casting director Johanna Ray, editor Duwayne Dunham and director of photography Frederick Elmes.
A Gathering of the Angels will take place on September 14th and 15th, offering fans a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the enigmatic and captivating world of David Lynch.
