From April 3rd to 6,th 2025, Art Paris makes a powerful return to the Grand Palais, now fully renovated, bringing together 170 exhibitors from 25 countries—an increase of 34 participants from the previous edition. As a leading spring event for modern and contemporary art, the fair continues to evolve with an enriched program featuring thematic exhibitions, awards, and discussions, alongside a VIP program offering exclusive visits to 31 key Parisian institutions.
Highlights include Immortelle, curated by Amélie Adamo and Numa Hambursin, exploring figurative painting in France with 30 artists in intergenerational dialogue. A catalogue and panel discussions on April 5th-6th will accompany the exhibition.
Another major initiative, Out of Bounds, curated by Simon Lamunière, explores themes of hybridity, identity, and cultural fusion through a selection of 18 international artists. The exhibition examines intersections between origins, gender, history, and geography, presenting contemporary art through a lens of fluidity and transformation. A thematic tour and a catalogue will accompany the showcase.
The Promesses sector, led by Marc Donnadieu, expands its focus on emerging galleries, featuring 25 exhibitors under ten years old. The Solo Show section showcases 26 monographic exhibitions spanning modern to contemporary movements.
Debuting in 2025, French Design Art Edition, curated by Jean-Paul Bath and Sandy Saad with scenography by Jakob + MacFarlane, brings together 18 exhibitors, blending contemporary design and decorative arts in a collective exhibition.
Institutional collaborations include the Fonds d’art contemporain – Paris Collections and the Villa Hegra residency’s NEUMA, The Forgotten Ceremony, an installation by Sarah Brahim and Ugo Schiavi.
Luxury craftsmanship meets contemporary art in Le chuchotement des mains, curated by Lucien Murat for Maison Camille Fournet Paris, featuring Yasmina Benabderrahmane, Recycle Group, and ORLAN.
New awards include the BNP Paribas Banque Privée Prize, offering €40,000 to support the French art scene, and the Her Art Prize by Marie Claire and Boucheron, granting €30,000 and an international promotional campaign to a female artist.
Galleries include Almine Rech, Lelong, Loevenbruck, Nathalie Obadia, and Templon, alongside newcomers like Sabrina Amrani (Madrid), Senda (Barcelona), Tang Contemporary (Beijing), and Waddington Custot (London).
Art Paris 2025 continues its sustainability commitment, reinforcing eco-design practices since 2022 to minimize environmental impact. As a key global art event, the fair cements Paris’s role as a dynamic hub for artistic exchange each spring.
