POUSH brings new narratives to Château La Coste

POUSH brings new narratives to Château La Coste

From April 12th to June 9th, 2025, Château La Coste in Provence opens its estate to POUSH, Europe’s largest artist incubator, for the exhibition Along Four Paths, Views on the Current Scene. Curated by Yvannoé Kruger and Margaux Knight, the show features 35 artists from 14 nationalities, offering a sensory journey through 160 site-specific works that respond to the land, its stories, and the architectural icons scattered across the vineyard. The exhibition title references both a Parisian metro stop near POUSH’s studios and the idea of wandering—a guiding spirit for the entire show.
Henri Frachon’s Sea of Holes anchors natural materials like tree trunks within circular cavities in the ground, resisting the movements of wild boar while invoking the terrain’s memory. Nearby, Pauline Guerrier presents The Guardians, textile totems inspired by Beninese spiritual figures, now protectors of the estate. Inside Richard Rogers’ glass pavilion, the collective La Méditerranée explores the idea of empty space, with Edgar Sarin’s oak sculpture contemplating the landscape beyond. Meanwhile, Justine Emard’s video installation Hyperphantasia merges prehistoric cave art and neural imagery, animated by AI. These poetic encounters between body, land, and architecture transform the estate into a living archive of artistic gesture. With this exhibition, POUSH continues its mission to connect emerging voices to new geographies and audiences.
