With a lavish exhibition in Milan, Bulgari celebrates the 75th anniversary of its Serpenti collection. The exhibition, called Serpenti: 75 Years of Infinite Tales, is an exclusive European stop on the global Serpenti Factory tour, which has also visited Shanghai and Seoul. The exhibition at the Dazio di Levante will be open to the public from 11 October to 19 November 2023.
This is a unique collection of rare early works by renowned designers. It offers an insight into their artistic and innovative creative worlds, free from commercial constraints. It includes 14,758 portfolios, 1,089 garments, 163 accessories, 118 pieces of jewelry and over 700 photographic projects. These treasures have been gathered from the ITS Contest, a prestigious global competition for contemporary fashion.
The interactive sculptures and installations by Daniel Rozin are one of the highlights of the exhibition Serpenti: 75 Years of Infinite Tales in Milan. One of his sculptures, part of his Mechanical Mirror Series, offers a unique viewing experience where visitors can see themselves reflected in a moving mechanical display. The kinetic mirrors are designed to respond to the presence of a person holding a camera and a computer, or to the use of custom-made software. Rozin’s materials mimic snake skin’s texture, with each tile resembling a hexagonal shape.
