Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior‘s creative director, has bought the Teatro Della Cometa in her hometown of Rome. Chiuri intends to renovate the small theatre, which she sees as an important part of the city, and hopes to complete the work next year.
The Teatro della Cometa, or Comet Theatre, was plunged into darkness during the pandemic. The designer says theatres in Rome go unnoticed by tourists, and it’s important to fix that.
