Coperni has unveiled its new Air Swipe Bag, which is 99% air and 1% glass. It weighs 33 grams.
Made of NASA’s silicate aerogel nanomaterial, the lightest solid on the planet, the Air Swipe Bag is 99% pure nothing and 1% glass. This extremely fragile yet durable nanomaterial has been used by NASA to collect stardust: it can withstand extreme heat (1,200 degrees Celsius) and a pressure of 4,000 times its own weight. The Air Swipe Bag is the largest object ever made from this space technology nanomaterial. The material was developed by Professor Ioannis Michaloudis.
