Along the way, Raiki encounters otherworldly creatures like Samurai Spiders, peculiar pets, and monstrous figures inspired by B-movie horror. Her journey blends modern urban life with folklore, moving seamlessly from bustling cityscapes to mystical temples and mountain retreats. Kamakura, her seaside hometown, serves as both destination and origin in this wild quest. Each page of 0081 unearths a dreamlike Japan, where Raiki confronts both external foes and inner demons.
