C.P. Company celebrates three decades in South Korea with 996-026. Memories of Italian Sportswear in South Korea, an exhibition at its Seoul flagship from October 21st to 23rd, 2026. Archival garments, personal stories and portraits trace the brand’s Italian design heritage and its ties to Korea’s creative community.
From Massimo Osti’s studio to Seoul’s creative community
Spanning two floors, the exhibition traces C.P. Company’s evolution from 1971 to 2026. The B2 level recreates founder Massimo Osti’s iconic studio, featuring four archival pieces and a Massimo Osti Studio pop-up. Upstairs, 30 South Korean creatives from cinema, music, art and fashion share portraits, chosen garments and personal memories.
Transparent display cases, a technique introduced by Osti in the mid-1980s, spotlight the garments’ materials and technical construction. Outside, Goggle Jackets in graduated garment-dyed hues adorn the flagship façade, celebrating one of the brand’s signature techniques.
Three decades of shared history
The anniversary honours C.P. Company’s enduring partnership with GF Fashion. Founder Choi Jin Won discovered the brand in New York in 1993 and opened its first South Korean flagship in February 1996. Today, Hee Choi leads GF Fashion, while Massimo Osti’s son, Lorenzo Osti, serves as C.P. Company president.
An accompanying publication features local creatives in archival designs and pieces from their own wardrobes, capturing the personal connections that link Italian sportswear heritage with South Korea’s cultural landscape.
A limited-edition quilted jacket and T-shirt commemorate the milestone with graphics inspired by South Korea’s map, major city landmarks and its national flower, the Mugunghwa.
