Cinéma Paradiso Louvre 2025 bridges fashion and film

This summer, Cinéma Paradiso Louvre returns for its fifth edition, once again transforming the Cour Carrée of the Louvre into the most glamorous open-air cinema in Paris. From July 2nd to 5th, 2025, the historic Cour Carrée of the Louvre will host four dazzling evenings of film, fashion, and culture—free and open to the public.

Organized by mk2 and the Louvre Museum, Cinéma Paradiso Louvre blends cinematic excellence with the elegance of haute couture, echoing the museum’s current blockbuster exhibition Louvre Couture: Art Objects, Fashion Objects. Set within the magnificent Cour Carrée of the Louvre, this event offers an immersive experience where classic and contemporary film meet high fashion in a setting unlike any other.

Starting each night at 7:30 p.m., Cinéma Paradiso Louvre welcomes up to 2,500 guests to enjoy a rich program of cult films, live music, and gourmet food trucks. Sofia Coppola’s The Virgin Suicides opens the lineup, followed by Wong Kar-wai’s In the Mood for Love. A special tribute to David Lynch includes a screening of his iconic Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, bringing surreal beauty to the Cour Carrée of the Louvre.

The final night of Cinéma Paradiso Louvre will feature the French premiere of The Secret Agent by Kleber Mendonça Filho, fresh off major wins at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. For many, experiencing this powerful new film beneath the stars at the Cour Carrée of the Louvre will be a once-in-a-lifetime cinematic moment.

With its seamless mix of fashion, film, and Parisian summer magic, Cinéma Paradiso Louvre is more than a movie event—it’s a cultural celebration in the heart of one of the world’s most iconic museums.
