Paris continues to celebrate new voices in fashion as Emeric Tchatchoua, founder and creative director of 3.Paradis, has been named a Chevalier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. The distinction was presented on January 14 during a ceremony at the French Ministry of Culture, underscoring the designer’s growing cultural impact.
The honor was bestowed by Minister of Culture Rachida Dati, in the presence of Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, and recognizes Tchatchoua’s singular creative vision. Through 3.Paradis, the Paris-based designer has built a universe that blends fashion with art, philosophy, and humanist values, forging connections between different worlds and experiences.
By awarding Emeric Tchatchoua the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, France acknowledges not only the strength of its historic fashion houses, but also the brilliance and determination of a new generation shaping the future of contemporary design.
