To mark two decades of his haute couture line, Giorgio Armani Privé, the legendary designer unveils a sweeping retrospective titled Giorgio Armani Privé 2005–2025: Twenty Years of Haute Couture. On view at Armani/Silos in Milan through December 28th, 2025, this remarkable showcase explores the evolution of his couture vision—defined by restraint, precision, and poetic experimentation.
Curated by designer himself, the Giorgio Armani exhibition spans four floors and features approximately 150 looks drawn from twenty years of Privé collections. From the debut in Paris in 2005 to today, each piece reflects a deeply personal and refined approach to fashion, distinct from prêt-à-porter yet unmistakably Armani.
The atmosphere is multisensory: visitors move through rooms filled with a custom soundtrack and the designer’s signature scent, Bois d’Encens. Highlights include a red-carpet-ready beaded gown echoing old Hollywood glamour and a shimmering, moonlit ensemble inspired by distant landscapes and embroidered with geometric grace.
For Giorgio Armani, haute couture is where ideas flow most freely. “Experimenting illuminates me,” he says—a belief that infuses the exhibition with a sense of creative freedom and timeless elegance. More than a retrospective, this is a journey into the imagination of one of fashion’s greatest living icons.
