Luca Guadagnino and Stefano Baisi unveil their Zara Home collection in Milan

Luca Guadagnino and production designer Stefano Baisi join forces with Zara and Zara Home for Baisi Guadagnino, a universe spanning interiors, fashion, fragrance, cinema and art. Launching during Milan Fashion Week 2026, the project brings more than 200 homeware pieces alongside a complementary fashion collection.

‘Baisi Guadagnino’: a world, not just a collection

The collaboration began after Guadagnino visited the Marta Ortega Pérez Foundation in Spain, leading to conversations with Inditex chair Marta Ortega and the duo’s work with Zara Home from April 2025.

Furniture, lighting, tableware, textiles, rugs, mirrors, accessories, candles and fragrance draw on Viennese Secession, French Art Deco, Brazilian modernism and radical Italian design. Curved forms and generous proportions lend the interiors a soft, cinematic character, while the Zara wardrobe extends the same vocabulary through tailored suits, roomy coats, knitwear, satin and sequins. Playful illustrations of fruit, flowers and fauna by Italian artist Francesco Snote appear across garments and ceramics.

From Modernist interiors to a sensory landscape

Moving freely across eras and disciplines, the collection recalls the Gesamtkunstwerk—the idea of a total work of art in which different creative forms become part of one environment. Fragrance deepens this sensorial world, with candles carrying notes of verbena, kumquat, galbanum, blood orange, grapefruit and orange blossom.

For Baisi and Guadagnino, the collection reflects the instinctive, often contradictory way people build their surroundings.

Cinema enters the collection

The project also takes shape on screen. Guadagnino has directed a 20-minute short written by Scott Z. Burns, starring Jamie Bell, Patricia Arquette, Michael Stuhlbarg and Chase Sui Wonders, with Baisi responsible for production design. Shot in four days, the film carries the theatrical energy of the collection into another medium.

Baisi has also designed the in-store displays, while the duo created a site-specific installation for the Milan launch.

Milan Fashion Week 2026 Becomes the Stage

Launching worldwide on September 26th, 2026, Baisi Guadagnino will be available through Zara Home and Zara’s websites and selected stores. In Milan, the collection will occupy La Pelota on September 26th–27th in a public pop-up coinciding with Milan Fashion Week.

Open from 11 AM to 8 PM, the installation brings the duo’s richly layered visual language into a physical space. Described by Baisi as “playful, fanciful and consistent”, it completes a project in which furniture, clothing, fragrance and film become fragments of the same imagined life.
