Michelangelo Pistoletto brings Third Paradise for Forever Is Now exhibition

This autumn, celebrated Italian artist Michelangelo Pistoletto will present a monumental new installation at the Great Pyramids of Giza, as part of the fifth edition of the Forever Is Now exhibition. Running from October 30th to November 22nd, 2025, the open-air show brings together leading international artists to create site-specific works that respond to the cultural and historical weight of Egypt’s most iconic site.

Pistoletto’s work, developed with his foundation Cittadellarte, will expand on his long-standing Third Paradise project—a symbol of harmony between nature and technology. Installed within view of the pyramids, the piece invites viewers to consider how ancient civilizations and contemporary society might meet in a shared vision of regeneration.

His inclusion in the Forever Is Now exhibition highlights the show’s ongoing mission to connect past and future through contemporary art. Known for his deep belief in the power of art to drive social change, Michelangelo Pistoletto was recently nominated for the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize.

In parallel with the exhibition, Cittadellarte will launch a fully funded scholarship for an Egyptian artist to study at its academy in Biella, Italy—extending the project’s reach beyond symbolism into tangible exchange.

“This is not just symbolic—it’s visionary,” said Nadine Abdel Ghaffar, founder of Art D’Égypte and curator of the Forever Is Now exhibition. By bringing Michelangelo Pistoletto to Giza, this year’s edition opens a new chapter in cultural dialogue, bridging time and territory through bold artistic vision.
