Miu Miu’s Literary Club returns for its second edition with A Woman’s Education, held at the Circolo Filologico Milanese on April 9th and 10th. This year’s program explores girlhood, love, and sex education through the works of Simone de Beauvoir and Fumiko Enchi, examining how literature shapes female identity and self-determination.
Discussions will challenge long-standing societal norms, while live performances and readings bring fresh perspectives to these influential texts. The first day highlights de Beauvoir’s The Inseparables, a deeply personal reflection on female friendship and coming of age, while the second shifts to Enchi’s The Waiting Years, a bold examination of women’s sexuality in post-war Japan. Through this immersive program, Miu Miu continues its commitment to championing women’s voices in literature and culture. The full schedule will be available on miumiu.com, with registration opening on April 3rd.
