During Milan Design Week 2026, Moynat opens its first Italian address at 3 Via Monte Napoleone, Milan, within a 16th-century palazzo. The debut signals a decisive expansion, extending the house’s dialogue with craftsmanship, design, and contemporary culture. From April 20th to 26th, the boutique operates as an exhibition space devoted to the reinterpretation of Moynat’s defining object: the trunk.
Three contributors—Hall Haus, Marianna Ladreyt, and Michael Samuels—recast it as spatial narrative, playful transformation, and sculptural form respectively, shifting it from functional object to cultural proposition. Rather than a retail setting, the space unfolds as a sequence of curated interventions where heritage becomes an active vocabulary. Within the broader context of Milan Design Week, Moynat’s Milan debut stands out for its restraint—privileging precision and depth over display.
