Lever Couture made a bold and emotionally charged debut during Paris Haute Couture Week 2025, unveiling its latest collection, Anatomy of Identity, at the iconic Palais de Tokyo on July 9th. Known for fusing avant-garde design with sculptural elegance, designer Lessja Verlingieri offered more than a runway show — she presented an introspective journey stitched in silk, crystal, and raw emotion.
An immersive experience at the Heart of Paris Haute Couture Week 2025
Set against the contemporary backdrop of the Palais de Tokyo, the Lever Couture presentation brought a fresh and fiercely intimate voice to the couture season. Anatomy of Identity explored the layered process of self-construction — the way our identities are shaped by memory, resilience, culture, and contrast. The collection played with the dualities of vulnerability and strength, fragility and structure, elegance and defiance.
Opening the show was a haunting solo performance by Katja Khaniukova, first soloist of the English National Ballet. Her expressive choreography — a narrative of personal transformation — became the emotional core of the evening. The atmosphere was deepened by a bespoke soundscape from I Monster, including the evocative track Who Is She?, which bathed the space in a mood of mystery and remembrance.
