See the unseen

Swarovski Optik’s AX Visio binoculars, designed by Marc Newson, use artificial intelligence to identify around 9,000 bird and animal species in real-time. Positioned as the world’s first smart binoculars, they are aimed at birdwatchers and hunters alike.

The augmented reality display superimposes species information on the observed image, eliminating the need for external references. Users can easily switch to identification mode, take photos and videos, and even mark places of interest for sharing. The binoculars function as analog devices without digital features, with an additional lens to facilitate digital capabilities.
