Snoopy takes center stage in Snoopy in Style: A History of Peanuts and Fashion, a new exhibition at Hôtel du Grand Veneur in Paris, running from March 22nd to April 5th, 2025. Curated by the Charles M. Schulz Museum with the support of Sarah Andelman, the exhibition delves into the long-standing relationship between Peanuts and the fashion world, showcasing rare archival pieces, early licensed merchandise, and high-profile collaborations.
The exhibition highlights Snoopy’s influence on fashion through unique installations. One standout display features a collection of Snoopy and Belle dolls dressed by some of the most iconic designers, including Karl Lagerfeld, Giorgio Armani, and Issey Miyake, reflecting a decades-long tradition of Peanuts-inspired couture. Another key attraction is a dedicated room celebrating Jean-Charles de Castelbajac’s 45-year collaboration with Peanuts, showcasing bold, playful reinterpretations of the beloved character.
Limited-edition collectibles will be available exclusively at the exhibition’s gift shop and the Highsnobiety Shop, including a glow-in-the-dark Snoopy GMT watch by Bamford, a reissue of K-Way’s 1985 Snoopy jacket, and an intricate “King Snoopy” figurine designed by Leblon Delienne and Castelbajac. Baccarat also joins the lineup with a special Cartoon Friendly Snoopy piece, adorned with an engraved dot motif and a Béton Ciré Miki hat.
Through archival storytelling and contemporary collaborations, Snoopy in Style offers an engaging tribute to Peanuts’ lasting impact on both pop culture and high fashion. Visitors can explore how the comic’s aesthetic has evolved over 75 years and continues to inspire new generations of designers.
