The Past Goes Fast

The Past Goes Fast

Tribeca, the renowned film festival co-founded by Robert De Niro, teamed up with Art Basel to present exclusive talks with renowned artists in Miami Beach as part of the Art Basel event. During the event, De Niro and photographer JR discussed their upcoming collaborative documentary, The Past Goes Fast. The amazing duo, a French photographer and a street artist known for his large-scale murals will create a film that will showcase the creative career of De Niro’s father through his artwork.

It is now known that, as part of the film, JR is engaging the actor in a series of symbolic performances designed to strengthen De Niro’s emotional bond with his father. On shooting days, the actor’s close friends are present on set to support him as he journeys into his father’s story.
