At CES 2026, entrepreneur, musician, and innovator will.i.am introduced TRINITY, a groundbreaking electric three-wheeler that showcases the next frontier of AI in transportation. The single-passenger vehicle blends cutting-edge technology with sleek urban design, redefining personal mobility for the connected city.
AI in transportation: the “brains on wheels” concept
TRINITY isn’t a self-driving car; it’s a driver-focused platform where humans and AI collaborate seamlessly. Powered by NVIDIA’s DGX Spark technology, the vehicle’s AI acts as an “organizing brain” that manages schedules, communications, errands, and cloud services—all while the driver stays in control. will.i.am describes the project as “where humans, vehicles, and AI agents work together effortlessly,” highlighting a new paradigm in which mobility and intelligence merge.
The tilting three-wheeler uses DEKA’s self-balancing technology, developed by Segway inventor Dean Kamen, to ensure car-like stability with bike-like agility. The AI-driven system, called the Agentic Operator, interprets the environment in real-time and enhances the driving experience through conversational workflows, while integrated audio and climate features make every ride luxurious and immersive.
Mobility design: high-tech meets high style
West Coast Customs led the vehicle’s styling, transforming the single-seater into a futuristic, driver-centric machine. TRINITY can accelerate from 0–60 mph in under two seconds, offers a 150-mile electric range, and is designed for urban performance with a top speed of 120 mph. Unlike other three-wheelers, it focuses entirely on one passenger, creating a personal, connected, and high-design experience.
TRINITY will launch via Kickstarter in January 2026, with first deliveries expected in August 2027. Manufacturing will take place in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles, combining advanced robotics production with a local educational initiative that trains residents in AI and mobility technology—a reflection of will.i.am’s commitment to American dynamism and community empowerment.
With TRINITY, will.i.am, DEKA, West Coast Customs, and NVIDIA collectively illustrate how mobility design can integrate intelligence, style, and social impact into a single, electrifying package.
