Transforming everyday spaces

Transforming everyday spaces

Harry Nuriev’s highly anticipated solo exhibition, The Foam Room, will be on display at DITTRICH & SCHLECHTRIEM in Berlin from September 13th to November 16th, 2024. Renowned for his innovative fusion of art, design, and architecture, Nuriev’s latest project delves into the fleeting nature of modern life through an immersive installation filled with foam. Visitors will find themselves in a mirrored gallery gradually enveloped by white foam, prompting reflection on themes of impermanence and transformation. The foam serves as a metaphor for the transient nature of industrial and economic concerns, as well as our fleeting attention.

Rooted in Nuriev’s concept of transformism, the exhibition reimagines everyday objects and spaces, challenging conventional perspectives. His work often pushes boundaries, encouraging fresh ways of thinking about the environments we inhabit. The Foam Room continues this exploration, offering the public an opportunity to interact with a surreal and ever-changing setting. This installation combines Nuriev’s love for experimentation with his talent for creating visually captivating, conceptually profound works that redefine contemporary art.
