Tokyo-based fashion label AMBUSH and Australian footwear giant UGG have joined forces for an unexpected take on classic silhouettes. Their debut collaboration, launching on February 21st, transforms the timeless Mary Jane and penny loafer into ultra-furry statement pieces. The collection will be available at AMBUSH stores, UGG’s Tokyo flagship, and online.
Blurring the boundaries between luxury and loungewear, AMBUSH infuses UGG’s signature comfort with its bold, statement-making aesthetic. “I wanted to create a more relaxed take on Mary Janes and loafers—something versatile enough to complement both casual and dressy looks,” says AMBUSH’s creative director, YOON.
The result? A striking four-piece collection designed to turn heads. The Mary Janes, available in pink and white, are wrapped in plush, long-haired sheepskin, finished with a playful heart-shaped metal accent. Meanwhile, the penny loafers, offered in burgundy and black, feature fur spilling from beneath a sleek leather strap and lining the insoles for extra warmth. Adding a dramatic twist, the loafers come with a detachable furry heel, creating an unexpected, bushy-tailed effect.
With its daring fusion of fashion and function, the AMBUSH x UGG collection redefines classic silhouettes—one fluffy step at a time.
