Saint Laurent’s Summer 25 through the eyes of Francesco Clemente

Summer 25 by Francesco Clemente marks a poetic collaboration between Saint Laurent and the legendary painter known for his emotive, dreamlike portraits. Commissioned by creative director Anthony Vaccarello, the project is part of the brand’s Spring/Summer 2025 campaign, which sees Clemente reimagining key looks from the runway through his signature brushwork. Rather than conventional photography, Clemente’s painted portraits of Isabella Ferrari, Zoë Kravitz, Ajus Samuel, and Penelope Ternes capture each figure as both subject and spirit.

Set against a backdrop of vibrant color and intimate texture, his work explores the dualities of sensuality and strength, identity and transformation. Ferrari, portrayed with quiet intensity, becomes a symbol of presence and grace, embodying the emotional undercurrent of the collection.

The result is not just a campaign, but a meditation on the feminine and the eternal—where tenderness is form, and beauty lingers just beneath the surface.
