Art Week Tokyo is an annual exhibition highlighting Tokyo’s vibrant contemporary art scene. The event brings together over 50 top museums, galleries and art spaces for four days of coordinated programming to promote the city’s art ecosystem. The convenient AWT bus service allows visitors to easily explore Tokyo’s dynamic art scene and immerse themselves in the rich cultural experiences the city has to offer.
Fifty galleries, institutions and emerging art spaces are participating in the exhibition, including the National Museum of Modern Art Tokyo (MOMAT), Perrotin, Taka Ishii Gallery, Waitingroom, Ginza Maison Hermes Le Forum, Gallery 38, Artizon Museum, Umiko Chiba Associates, Misako & Rosen, etc.
Supported by the Japan Agency for Cultural Affairs, Art Week Tokyo is organized by the Japan Contemporary Art Platform in collaboration with Art Basel. Tokyo Art Week will take place from 2 to 5 November 2023. Find out more details on the AWT website.
