In a landmark exhibition, Serpentine North will host Echoes of the Earth: Living Archive by Refik Anadol, the groundbreaking artist and pioneer of AI aesthetics, from 16 February to 7 April 2024. Anadol’s collaboration with artificial intelligence will take center stage, with Artificial Realities: Coral offering an immersive experience using an advanced AI model trained on 5 billion coral images. The exhibition delves into Anadol’s years of exploration of coral reefs and rainforests, offering audiences a unique multi-sensory journey into a virtual underwater realm.
Adding to the excitement, Anadol presents the UK premiere of Living Archive: Nature, first shown at the World Economic Forum 2024. Adapted for Serpentine North, this installation transforms the gallery into an AI-modelled rainforest, featuring the longest 3D generative AI output on nature.
